CHECK TWICE, DELIVER ONCE
Quality Control (QC) in the motion picture industry is a systematic process to ensure the MASTERED content meets all aesthetic, technical, and distribution standards before its delivered and released.
This FIRST CHECK involves the client confidence review to hold all finishing artists and vendors accountable.
The SECOND CHECK should be done before you consider creating a single deliverable. This step is a formal Third Party QC Reporting process for your OAR MASTER (with Textless Sequence and 12-track Audio) to catch and correct any errors induced by artists and vendors - such as audio sync, color inconsistencies, and visual artifacts that could affect the final product and audience experience.
The Third Party QC process typically involves both automated checks and human review to verify that the content will align with creative intent and distributor delivery specifications. This has nothing to do with the eventual Distributor’s QC process (by then, it will cost you in time and money).
